Lactose intolerance. Many people don't have much of a vital enzyme that reduces lactose into a digestible form, and it can't be digested properly. It is much more common in Asian people. If you eat some acidopholus pills, it can help the stomach digest the lactose, or try some lactose free milk.

They lack the enzymes to digest dairy. Lots of people have that problem. Drink lactaid milk, take lactaid tablets, eat aged cheeses over soft cheeses (cheddar good, mozerlla bad), Yoplait yogurt is the least irritating for my tummy, too.
Some people get all freaked out and think it's a food allergy. Lactose intolerance is not a food allergy. If dairy gives you gas, stomach aches and diarrhea you are lactose intolerant.
If dairy makes you break out in hives and/or wheeze you are allergic to it.

Although I don't want to say lactose intolerance again I guess I have. Though this could be the reason there are other problems that are heightened when eating dairy products, in particular, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Gastroentiritis.

Its a thing called Lactose Intolerance. No joke. My daughter suffers from it that's how I know. Just have to stay away from Dairy Products or try and figure out which ones cause the problem - trial and error.

Usually a condition known as lactose intolerance. There are other possible reasons like bad dairy but this would be the general reason.

Some people are lactose intolerant. Lactose is something in dairy products, and when you're intolerant to it, you have trouble digesting it.

Their bodies are unalbe to process the lactose in dairy. You can try to take Lactaid which is supposed to help (it does not help me though).
