In my Art class there's this really cute foreign exchange student from France. Not only is he my friend I have a big crush on him. The thing is ....I don't have self-confidence in myself, to tell him that like him a lot. How do I tell him a really really like him without embarrassing myself?

If he's a friend of yours then you should definately tell him you like him because good relationships always start out as friends. Its better to tell a guy you know that you like him instead of telling someone you admire from afar you like them. Friends will always understand. You should tell him by casually asking him to go to dinner or movie with some other friends. After that kind of date ask him to go to dinner or a movie with you again except this time do not take anyone else along. This gives you guys time to know each other better. And if you still like him, tell him that.

"Hi how you doing? You know I really like you being my friend and I have feelings for you" and his response could be a million and one. You will at least made his day...made him feel good and also you will realize where you stand with him. By the way realize that we are all beautiful in one way or another we all are. Self confidence comes from ignoring others and what they say and listening to that inner voice. No matter how beautiful we are we all are insecure and scared. Trust me when I say that.
Respect what he has to say as well. Maturity is understanding the other person may have feelings different than ours and those feelings are not tied into looks etc.
When you are my age you will realize your mom was right you are beautiful...till then you like everyone around you is insecure.

Go up to him and start a conversation then say "You are a very cool freind..." Then the next day start another conversation and say " Yesterday you were a good friend but I want to work things out... I think you and I will make a cute couple..." If he says no say ok maybe next time. Act like everything is cool.

Since he is your friend you probably know what turns him off about stuff you are asking about. If you haven't talked about this "crush" thing and if he would be turned off if the girl approached him first, you might want to stir up a conversation leading to that so you'll know what's on his mind then do exactly what you need to do after you have found out what works with him.

I understand you're afraid that he might change the way he hangs with you when he knows the truth.
But if you're really that brave enough to tell him you like him, then go ahead and follow your heart, express your emotions and tell him what's the reason you liked him.
Be yourself, it's normal to be conscious for yourself specially when seeing that crush you like but it's better if he sees you the way you really are.

I think that you should just come out and say it, because the SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME and my guy friend is cool w/ the fact that I like him. But ONLY tell him that you like him if he's a really close friend, like mine is. well, i have a friend who's in the same situation. so, if you and him are good friends then you obviously have chemistry. juss ask him if he wants to go somewhere with you like out to eat..if he says yea, then he's interseted. but if he says that he has other plans, then he's not.
