Some people are prone to oily hair..and they have to wash their hair everyday.
I'd get some good conditioner like Matrix...

You have an oily scalp. It happens. You can try to get a scalp treatment done. What they do is use a nylon bristle brush to comb the scalp and roots. Also make sure you brush your hair from the root to the tips (in sections) twice a day. This will bring your hairs natural moisture to the tips of your hair (which is what all of us women need to do...it keeps our hair moisturized and helps minimize split ends) You should wash your hair every other day but for oily scalp some wash everyday. I know that beauty supply stores have a shampoo to help minimize the oily hair. However your tips need that oil from your scalp. Try a reconstructor for the roughness. There is no permanent solution to help with the roughness and dryness other than brushing from the roots to the tips with a nylon bristle brush. Hope this helps some

Well if ur hair is oily u should wash it more often with a special shampoo for oily hair u can get them anywhere and ur hair gets oily 2 if u sweat a lot. thats why u need 2 wash it a lot.
And for the soft and shiny part u should try brushing ur hair more like when u have free time u brush ur hair with a special brush that makes ur hair shine and becomes softer, u have to brush it like ex. 50 times or more after each other.
THere r also products 2 make ur hair realllyy shine, i use anti-frizz serum: liquid silk from schwarzkopf but there r all sorts of brands it makes ur hair shine and smooth

OMG I HAVE THIS PROBLEM TOO. BUT I READ IN A SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE THAT U SHOULD BUY A CONDITIONER CALLED: AUSSIE CLEANSE AND MEND
AND ITS REALLY CHEAP TO ONLY $3 AT TARGET. AND I GOT IT, AND IT SMELLS SOOOO WONDERFUL LIKE CITRUS FRUITS. AND I JUST WET MY HAIR PUT THE CONDITIONER ON WAITED ABOUT 3 MINUTES. AND AFTER I RINSED AND DRIED. MY HAIR WAS 100% OIL FREE. IM NOTT KIDDING. IN THE MAGAZINE THEY SAID IT GETS RID OF OIL BUILD UP AND IS GENTLE ENOUGH FOR EVERYDAY USE. AND I TOTALLY AGREE. AND I DONT HAVE FRIZZY ENDS ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THE CONDITIONER. ITS SOOOOOO AFFORDABLE. AND IT LEAVES UR ROOTS OIL FREE. I SWEAR TO U. THT IS THE MAIN THING. AND IT LEAVES UR ROOTS SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR SILKY. I PROMISE. OR I WOULDNT BE USING IT. GOOD LUCK BABY!!!!!!!!! EMAIL ME BACK AT UR RESULTSSSSSSSSS I WANNA KNO

I would suggest to use ion glossing mist. It makes your hair so shiny and like 10 times softer. (It also reduced oil in your hair) ;)

an old wives tale but it works (i do this on my 7 year old who has extremely long straight hair) - we add baking soda to the shampoo to really get all that left over build-up off when we shampoo her hair.
