18 (next week 19 kids [ our new foster daughter is moving in], and in August, 21 kids [after our twins are born]) kids live at our house. they want to have matching t-shirts for when we go out since it's kind of hard to keep track of everybody. the backs are going to say
" We love our family"

and the fronts will say

Byrne # 1 (or 2 or 3)
and then their name

so for example:

Byrne # 4
Leslie Rayne

they all love the idea, and they all want they're middle names on it too. my question is (they can't decide). should we have different color shirts or the same, and if the same what color. the majority thinks we should have the same color, so it would be easier to spot a stragler, but can't choose a color. the lettering will be black. any ideas?

i love the idea. i think you should have the same color for the reason you mentioned above, and whatever you choose, choose a bright color, like red, so it will be easier to spot. good luck with your new kids!!!!!

that's pretty awesome, not only the t-shirt thing but your whole foster parenting. it takes a lot in a person to do that and it sounds like u guys have it! the shirt idea is awesome and since the kids are so in to it then put their full name on the shirt and i would get the same color for everyone and i would use a color that would def. stand out in the crowd maybe a bright orange or green! you guys are awesome...take care and have fun!!! God Bless

A light color so the black letters would be easier to read, if someone got between you, in a crowd. Maybe each one could have a little picture of themselves, transfered onto their shirt, wearing their favorite color clothes, instead of a middle name.

whoaaaaaaa you really don't want the names on them as this is a trick that pedophiles use to help lure kids but i love the idea of matching shirts and the back message may be you could come up with something different for the front besides when a kid grows out of it you cant pass it down....

I say, white or yellow. And something that would be cool, is to have them all put their handprints on the back on all the shirts, that would be cool. I have a shirt for my whole family that we wear for reunions....it says

We are the Abinum's, and proud!

and we add a star for every child born.

You have a lot to handle with your farm already, but I think it's a good idea to have the same colored t-shits just to make your family look fancy.

That's an awesome idea! And a....lot....of...kids. I would do the same color: red, blue, and/or green is my suggestion.

I wouldn't put their names on them! Their initials are OK. There alot of weirdos out there. They will approach the child and say their name like they know them, and could try to take him/her.
