When figuring out what to serve with fried chicken think like the Colonel. Baked beans, corn on the cob, slaw, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and biscuits.

Depends on your diet and likes and dislikes and what kind of chicken are you frying?

If it is cut up chicken parts dredged in flour, eggs and bread crumbs or crushed corn flakes, I like to have mashed potatoes with plenty of butter and corn off the cob. Of course subsitute your own favorite vegetable here.

If it is fried chicken cutlets, I like some kind of seasoned rice and a vegetable.

Other side dishes I have substituted in are mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, and french fries.

Whatever you choose to make with it, enjoy cooking it and eating it!

Fried chicken is so versatile, You can do picnic style and go with potato salad or mac salad. You can go traditional with mashed potato's and a veg. Or you can go original serve it with pancakes ( saw that on food network) You can eat it hot or cold. And it goes with just about anything..

try rice... add a bit of lemon in the water for a nice flavouring or chicken broth cube.
if using minute rice you can make it with tomato juice for nice flavor as well
make a gravy with the drippings and serve over mashed spuds.
broccoli is good as a vegetable , perhaps served with melted cheese over top
A green salad always goes well with anything
For a unique flavor you can use tarragon when frying the chicken. very tasty.
