sometimes, the answers don't seem obvious as to why we react at a situation.
It sort of sound like you might be having an anxiety response to something. It's wierd sometimes how our minds and bodies behave. Earlier this week, I had a busy day , morning classes, errands , afternoon class, then 100 mile drive to a meeting, so I had planned it out well. Everything was going smoothly I was on schedule and then when leaving my last class I suddenly felt like I was having a heart attack, (anxiety), my heart raced I thought OH NO I forgot something, I sat in my car a few moments finishing off the bottle of vitamin water I bought on the way to class, thinking over what I may have forgotten. Then I looked at the bottle (which I had chosen for flavor) and saw it had Taurine ( the same stuff in RedBull). It is a supplement used for energy but I had mistaken that extra energy boost for an anxiety attack, so I got a bottle of plain water and by the time I reached my destination the heart fluttering was over. I know that was long to read. I just wanted to take your mind off your anxiety for a moment and give you something else to consider.
abrupt Changes in mood are not always Hormonal, somethimes it's just the situation you are in . Perhaps you had a reminder today of a past experience that made you rage (even if it wasn't exactly the same) the mind sometimes puts things together.
My mom can push my buttons on any subject (and give me the same reaction you are having today) She says it's because she made the buttons so she knows which ones to push.
either way it's anxiety,
whether it's my mom, supplements or situations, I have to find a way to deal with the anxiety in a healthy way.
some people clean, cook, exercise, overeat, binge, turn to chemicals or alcohol, to cope.
I like to go online and find questions that interest me to answer, and I hope you will find and activity that will help you feel better, perhaps asking important questions like yours today will help you feel better.
I hope so

Try listening to some chill out music. Take deep breaths and slowly relax individual parts of your body. Empty your mind and imagine you are floating in a bubble and nothing can get in it or burst it.

If this does not help try writing down everything you have on your mind no matter how trivial you think it is. Look at your list and see if there is anything on there which is contributing to your angry feeling.

Talk to a friend or family member about how you are feeling or go for a nice quiet walk on your own to be alone with your emotions. Sometimes a bit of space is all we need.

Hope you start to feel better soon.

There are alot of things that could be causing those feelings from a hormone imbalance, overwork, thyroid problem, change in living arrangements, just to much stress, diet? Looking for help is the 1st step. Try eliminating one thing at a time. When is the last time you had a complete physical?

I do deep breathing and meditation. I also talk to God alot and make sure, when I'm getting to stressed out , to stop what I'm doing, evenif only for a few minutes and clear my head. Good luck.

Well, my first thought was change of life but I looked at your profile and you're 25 so I ruled that out.

Perhaps you're in a rut. In Scotland, it's probably still colder than in other climates. It's a known fact that lack of sunshine contributes to wintertime blues. If you could get out in the afternoon sunshine and fresh air, I'm sure that would do wonders for you.

I would suggest trying the herb Valerian for about a week. Take it first at bedtime to see how it affects you. It has no known side effects. Do that for a week and if you're still feeling this way, visit your doctor.

What your feeling in your stomach is the unknown rage that you're experiencing and keeping in. It has no place to go, is generating excess stomach acid and you're on your way to an ulcer if you don't correct whatever is bothering you.

First, get a couple of old newspapers, stand up in your room and tear them into tiny pieces as viciously as you can - this takes up a lot of angry energy - then you have to pick up all the pieces (how silly will you feel!) I have done this and ended up laughing at myself. Second - look in the mirror and tell your self you are an OK person, do this every day. Third - do some physical exercise - even just walking, it helps. Also a good ploy is to go and help someone else who needs attention - then you realize you aren't alone with problems. Remember that next week, next month will be different with different feelings and different priorities. Good luck

Hi! I'm a Psychiatric Nurse and your question made me stop and think. I sensed so many feelings that were left UNEXPRESSED.....feelings from past unresolved issues that you accurately described as feeling in your stomach. When we don't address what's going on and resolve it at that time, we "swallow" those feelings and these swallowed feelings keep piling up, one on top of the other, until our stomachs churn with rage and we feel like we're a volcano just waiting to erupt. Are there abuse issues? Eating Disorders/Obsessive Compulsive behaviors? Relationship problems? Not being taken seriously issues?? Everything you expressed points to anxiety/depression....and fyi, the medical definition of depression is anger turned inward. Please know that there is sooooo much help available and that you won't always feel this way!! Get in touch with a qualified therapist who can help you work thru whatever is troubling you, ok?? People DO care......

Take a break from you worries and frustration.

For awhile, step back from being annoyed, angry, and frustrated.

Get lost in some good music, pleasant conversation with friends, a good book, etc. Whatever will help you to just relax and forget about your troubles for awhile.
Don't turn to drugs or alcohol because those are destructive.

I'm not telling you to avoid facing your problems, but I am saying that you need to relax for awhile so that you can see things more clearly when you do face your problems.

Sounds like you may have PMS believe me you can feel like that!! And you dont know why and you want to throw something or do some serious damage.
When I feel like it I just have to get away from people and go somewhere quiet. Or go out so I am not shut in at home.
I do explain to those around me that I am in one of those moods and they know to treat me a bit carefully.
You can take tablets but I try to avoid that process.

well are you extra hormonal for some reason? If not, then you need to sit down and go over your life in your head. Normal people don't just become filled with rage for NO REASON. If you honestly can't find anything that it eating at you, and making you feel this way, then i say you need to make a visit to your Dr. and find out what's going on. There could be a MEDICAL reason for it.
