A long time ago, I was told that I should write down my prayers and put them in the bible. Once I do that, I am supposed to let go and let the lord take over. Does anyone know which chapter and verse it is supposed to go in? I know it is somewhere in Psalms.

A long time ago, I was told that if I wanted to hear God's words, I could find them in the bible.

But what about my words? Do I write down mine words and place them in a book by some author and expect him/her to hear them? Probably not.

A long time ago, you were told to write down your prayers and place them in the bible, and let God take over. For prayers asking for help, placing them in the bible gave them to God. Placing them in Psalms put your prayers next to King David's prayers, prayers that talk to God.

There are lots of pages where you do put your prayers to give them to God. The reason for placing them in the bible in the first place was to change your focus from you to God. Obviously you need to do this now, so open your bible and start reading. The verse you are looking is there, you just forgotten where.

If we are willing to listen, we will find answers (not necessarily the ones we want). If we can listen, why do you think God can not?

124:8Our help is in the name of the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
