The body doesn't leave enough room , the wheel wells aren't large enough to handle that size of rim and tire . If you cut the wheel wells out maybe !

WOW THAT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES ! I didn't think any existed anymore ! ! ! what did you do resurect one somewhere ?, I would like to find one myself .
I don't believe they will fit it the car comes factory with 165r/70x14 tires not much room in the wheel well area.The tires would have to be extreemly low profile almost rim to pavement (meaning a very expensive wheel replacement from future road damage).
I owned a 1974 pinto RUNABOUT [the trunk equipped model] I miss that car had a lot of fun with it .

one lug nut on a 32 costs more than your pinto.
