Probably 3 or 4...
To be totally honest.
Sexual involvement with maybe 2 or 3 of them.
A couple of close friends, maybe with sexual privileges...
...a main romantic partner.
And a buddy.
Then again, I tend to make close friends with women (I'm a man) and think female friends are a bit different than buddies.
Also, I highly doubt my fiance would go for it.

When you are happy- 1 is really the maxium.
It has very little to do with the number of people you have around you, its the quality of them and the wholeness you feel in their company.
