I would suggest you use Bacitracin. It's a triple antibiotic ointment you can find at any drugstore.
I cut the tip of one of my fingers off with a hedge trimmer. The scars on my finger are only visible up-close, since they got the same skin tone as the rest of the finger.
No side effects using it, really important.

Maderma is actually wonderful for scarring. You cant get it at the drug stores and it is what hospitals recommend. Also neosporin ointment would be good.

I recommend Mederma. It works really good on scars. You should get her Mederma For Kids.

the doctor usually gives tetracycline 1% eye cream. you can try Vit e cream - blackmore or centallase, cica care ( silicone transparent gel)
