yeh, my pup decided to bite into some shoe polish, got it all over the carpet and himself! managed to get it out of the carpet with some white spirit, but i dont wanna use that on him!! i just gave him a bath with his dog shampoo, but still no luck! not too bothered, but it would be nice to get it out. he has a black chin and black paws and bum!! hehe. thanks!!

shave it whe the black bits are then w8 until it grows back or paint ir yelow again,lol joking dont do that its mean. it should rub off soon if you wash him regulaly if it desnt come off you could try asking your vet for some dog friendly stain remover.w8 that might work stain remove it. lol.

There are some citrus based solvents that can probably cut through the polish and would be considered safe for your pup. One common name brand is "Goo Gone" (also works great on gum!). However, even though it's suppose to be 'safe', I wouldn't try to clean around her mouth or nose because it would get into her system (through her skin) much too easily, but should work on her paws or rump. If that doesn't work, try acetone based nail polish remover...not as safe, but I'm almost definite it would cut through. Good luck. Poor pup!

Try some non acetone fingernail polish remover adn give him a bath again...lol he sounds like my yellow lab pup alwys chewin everything

if it is not annoying it just leave the pup alone it will wear off when you are washing the pup

My first thought was fingernail polish but I think I would try not to get too much on his skin

Shampoo and water work just fine.
DON'T put any solvents on his fur
