There's no way to get rid of that feeling, I get it a lot.
You can make it better by sitting down with one or both of them and talking a little about it. (Tip: they're going to try to blame the other parental...just ignore that).
Do you have a sibling? Call them or hole up in their room if your 'rents are going at it with bats again. Call a friend or walk to a neighbor's too. It can help to talk to someone who isn't too busy yelling at someone else to listen.
If your parents are okay with it, take a walk. If you live near woods or a pond or a beach, go there. It helps to relax your mind if you "get back to nature".
And good luck. It's no fun when you feel like a random spot on your parent's rage. Just remember it'll blow over or you'll feel better.

I think I know why this question is in this area. Listen, pets are people's best friends. So, If you don't have one, get a pet ( best dog) , and when they get in a fight, just go walk him or just play with him. And, if your question does not have anything to do with animals, well just go talk to them both about how their fighting is bothering you. And, it may seem bad, but divorce is sometimes the best solution for your future... I really do hope u solve this problem, because I think I know how u feel. Good luck

I think this one is in this section cause he or she is crying for attention to their problem. I have to agree that if you can walk away from it or if you can't try to tune them out , try taking deep breaths and letting them out slowly. If all else fails and it is really bad, go for any help, from a friend, clergy or school counselors. If it is violent, call 911.

Go yell at them and then smack them both in a head as hard as you can. If that doesn't work try calling the child hotline, it's usally listing in the front of the phone book for your area. At worst you can call your grandparents and the police if it is really bad.

Talk to your school counselor. The internet is not really the best place to seek help for this type of problem.

WHY IS THIS QUESTION UNDER PETS/ DOGS SECTION? ANYWAYS, YOU GOTTA DROWN THEM OUT WITH MUSIC OR TV. LEAVE AND GO FOR A WALK OR TO SOME ONE ELSES HOME TILL THEY ARE DONE. ITS NORMAL FOR MOMS AND DADS TO DIAGREE ON THINGS THEY FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT. BUT IF SOMEONE IS CALLING HURTFUL NAMES OR HITTING EACHOTHER CALL 911 FOR HELP.

why is this in the dogs section ?
if you are saying that your parents are having a verball or physical argument/fight then you need to be phoning the police when it happens.
there are support groups such as samaritans that can offer you support
good luck

First remember it's not you!!
Second, remember you are not alone!
Parents are people and they get mad but they often forget on how it effects a child who is hearing it.
