No. They create plenty of rake already. If play enough hands you will see that big hands win their proper amount on any online poker site, even Party. The thing you have to remember is that when you have 4 people in the pot AA doesn't win 80% of the time like it does against 1 person. Instead it only wins 50% of the time. Your AA loses alot because the odds against multiple people dictate it will lose that amount of the time.

The amount of money that poker gaming websites receive from rakes alone is so enormous that they don't need to cheat anybody.

In a day, mainstream poker websites like Absolute and Full Tilt can earn millions off the rakes alone. They don't need to rig their games just to earn a few more marginal dollars.

I dont believe that any poker site fixes hands and honestly, when you're playing against real people, I don't know how they could. I've seen people fold pocket AA because they think they are determined to lose with it.

When you think of AA, KK or QQ they are obviously great starting hands, but if you don't hit anything else...all you have is a pair. If you really pay attention to other people's winning hands, a single pair in Texas Hold 'Em usually is not good enough.

Worse, people slow play these hands. AA against one other player will probably win. AA against 4 other players will probably lose.

yea i heard that from so many players who used to play at party but now in stars. but i really don't agree with people who talk sh*t about other sites unless its site that i've never heard of. simple reason i could give u is "if u think party is fixing hand, don't play there and go somewhere else and play(there still are bunch of other poker sites) or if u feel all the online poker sites are like that .....simply don't play online and go look for near by casino poker room" i've seen so many hands(of course bad beat included) in past years almost nothing surprise me anymore. AA KK QQ does NOT almost always loses! maybe in one afternoon it dose....

Of course not, they don't care who wins the hand. Suck-outs, bad beats, and lucky flops are all just part of the game. With kings you will get an ace on the flop 17% of the time, and with queens you get at least 1 over card over 40% of the time. Also if you play aces against three other players your odds go way down. Its just part of the game, but the site could care less if you win or lose the hand.

Actually these things do happen. If you talk to alot of players, they will tell you they have lost more money with AA then with just about any other hand.

I was playing a friendly game at work heads up. I had 7-2 my friend had QQ. He went all in and because I was bored I called him. The flop was 772. Thats what makes HOLD-EM exciting

No.

Last night I was playing at a pub poker league. I moved all in for a significant amount of chips with QQ. Someone thought about it and called me with A6 off.

The door card was an ace, and just to rub salt in the wound the river turned their six into a straight. The woman smugly gathered up the chips as if she had just made the most amazing play in creation. She didn't realize that at best she was 28% to win.

Last year I played in a World Series Of Poker Circuit Event with a $500 buy in. As we approached the money I went on tilt after a bad beat and moved all in with A6 of clubs. I was instantly called by a guy with pocket aces. I was only 11% to win. But the flop brought a six, and the river brought another six for trips. I knocked the guy out with my donkey play and he no doubt went home to tell all his friends how he got his aces cracked by an idiotic fish.

Do I think that the deck was deliberately stacked by the dealers on both of these occasions? Of course not. These are called bad beats, they happen all the time. As one of the professionals said the other day on Poker After Dark, "in poker you are never as far ahead as you think."

Even if you have aces against a random hand pre-flop you are only going to win four in five times, and that's assuming heads up. If you take those aces to the flop against three other players you are only going to win 64% of the time. Pocket queens against three other players you are only going to win about 54% of the time. And this is assuming random hands. If they play good hands against you your odds are even worse.

The highest possible rake on Party Poker is $5 on a table playing $25/$50 blinds with four or more players. Do you really think that Party Poker is going to risk losing all their customers for $5 instead of say $2? Do you really think that people would even play at that blind level if they thought they were being ripped off?

Party Poker is traded on the London Stock Exchange and is monitored and regulated by an independent company to ensure that their deals are fair and random. The scandal that would ensue if a single disgruntled employee came forward with evidence of what you are saying would literally wipe the company out. They would be dumped off the stock market and lose their entire business, which includes a bunch of other online gaming and betting. It would be stupid to take such a risk.

I think the reason you lose with aces, kings or queens is because you are not betting them correctly. When it comes to low stakes online games it is very hard to get people to lay down their hands, especially if they hold and ace or two suited cards. You have to play differently than you would in a real life game, and even then people still play like idiots from time to time. But in the long run, if you play properly and adjust for the online game with the kinds of people that play online you will win money.

Don't start getting into ludicrous conspiracy theories about the online poker room being out to get you. This is being dishonest with yourself about your own game. Go to the last link I've given you and check out how much people are making online. I've checked this site with people I know, and my stats and they are bang on. How are these people winning this kind of money if it is all rigged?

No. Although those hands are the best starting hands that doesn't mean that they will always win.

People also tend to get excited when they see them. So they play bet them wrong.
