I've been single all my life and then all of a sudden someone comes along and turns my world upside down and opens my eyes for the first time ever. What makes it worse is that I always turn stupid around them and I second guess myself. I don't even bother them but I awlays think about them in a good way. Why does it always have to be so hard and scary when it comes to a person you have feelings for and care about? What a loser I am. It's sad to be this way. Does anybody know how long it takes to get over this. I mean months have went by and I'm still being totured. I'm fine one minute and cry the next. It's not fair I tell ya. My friends are tired of listening to me. They told me just to let it go and trust me I have tried to. Desparately. I honestly never thought I would be in this position but oh joy here I am. Just when you think it's over it comes right back at me. I should really be telling them this shouldn't I?

Why not open your heart and let those feelings in? There is obviously something there for you feel the way you do. Loving someone is not a bad thing, just because you have been single all you life does not mean you have to continue this unless, you are a selfish person and do not want to share your life with someone. And that is not a bad this either.

You sound exactly like a guy I know...

Anyway, that's life and love. It'll take you up and drop you flat on your face but good news is that it's going to get up there again! If you haven't shared your feelings with her then go for it! If you have, you can try again. Only good things can come out of it. She might feel the same but if not, at least you tried and you can draw some closure from that

Good luck

Sounds a little bit like me. If you ever find a cure for what's wrong with you, let me know cos I'm pretty sure I could do with a dose of the same thing. Not much of an answer, but just to let you know you;re not alone.

You will get over it, just give it time, a lot of time, believe me we all go through it, you will be fine. Now there would only be one reason to tell this story of pain to them, and that is to get them back, it would be a stupid thing to do, why would you want to get back together and go through this again later when you get dumped again. If they cared 1 **** about you, they would be there with you now, wake up.

I would suggest doing something to build up your confidence level. Perhaps listen to some Tony Robbins CD's, go to some confidence boosting seminars or something. Once you have built up your confidence you'll find you won't worry so much about acting weird in front of them, you'll just be yourself, because you are completely 100% comfortable with yourself.

You were alone, you date one guy, and now you're an emotional wreck.
There is nothing wrong with you, welcome to the dating world. you just need some experience. Relationships come and they go, maybe you find someone you want to be with, maybe not. With time and experience it gets easier though.
