Set all the clocks in the house forward a couple of hours and make someone think they're late.

i don't know about just saying something but some funny things i have done to co-workers (without really hurting anyone or making a mess) are:
- take the ball out of thier mouse
- put tape on the bottom of mouse so it doesn't work
- put scotch tape over the plunger of thier phone so when they pick up the receiver it keeps ringing (i like to call them about 4 times in a row after this one)
- unplug the receiver from the phone base
- wrap tape around the wheels of thier chair so it won't roll when they try to move
- wrap alot of tape around the entire phone and then start calling them first thing in the morning before they notice and remove it
- if they are not really computer savy..... change thier desktop wallpaper to something really crazy
- change thier screensaver to "marquee" and have the saying be something wacky
i have one other one that i used to do when i was in the restaurant business. it sounds kinda silly but there really were some hysterical reactions every single time it did it:
I would tell one of the servers that a specific person at a specific table (of thiers) just stopped me and asked for a glass of milk and i was just too busy to help them out right now. The server would then rush out there and usually just set the milk on the table in front of the person with a "here ya go". The looks on people's faces were priceless, especially the server when they found out no one really asked for milk.
I always used milk as the drink and usually picked the least likely person at a table to be drinking milk in a restaurant.

if you take somone out to eat to a resturant that you know that owns it and pretend you dont have any money and you tell the person you are taking not to take any money and get the waitress in this little prank to and bring the bill out and you say that you dont have any money and the waitress will say well if yall dont have any money then i guess you will have to wash dishes in the back. so yall go back there and put on aprons and start to wash dished, then after yall have done a few than you tell them april fools! that happened to me and it worked good because i beileved them!

call sumone and say there is sumone else on conference with them when they say hello there will be no one there!
also say to aperson ur girl friend has been calling ever 10 minutes to talk to u... they will rush to the phone and call ther GF and then say April Fools
