Where are you at? Whom are you selling to?

Here are a few ideas:

1) Personalization. Personalization is big right now. Put one initial on the cuff of the sock.

2) Place decals of socks along with your company name, logo and number over the outside of your car and cars of employees. Get permission to mount a large cardboard sock on the roof of the cars, also.

3) Hire a songwriter to write a short jingle and air it on radio and cable television.

4) Help sponsor a charity event where there are a lot of people and dress as a large sock. Make sure the press covers this event.

5) Send out a press release every month and tell how you send free socks to the troops, and host charity events, etc.

Hope this helps.

Where are you selling these socks? The sales people could wear the socks. This means they would have to wear shorts or ankle wiper pants so that they can be seen. The socks should coordinate well with their clothing however. Train sales people as "hosiery experts" who can recommend the perfect socks for any ensemble or purpose.

Do some ambient advertising, perhaps if your socks are unique in colours or design (as opposed to plain black socks) you might be able to go around your city / town and put socks on all the statues in town, maybe foot prints around the mall etc
