It is unlikely you are pregnant. I have hd the mirena fitted for about 9 months now. Some months I have a regular period, some months just one or two days of light spotting, some months nothing at all, although I still get period pains.
Have you checked to make sure it is still in place? You should have been shown how to feel for the strings. If it is in place, then the chances of pregnancy are really slim, it is as effective as female sterilisation.
I was told that 75% of women would see a decrease in periods, and some would have no periods at all. If you are really worried, then take a test, but my guess is it would negative.

It's possible, but highly unlikely. I would go get a pregnancy test to be sure..

I also use this bc but before I got this, my periods were always very irregular.
Now about 6 months later my periods have completely stopped. My ob/gyn said that this is why most people get this kind of bc because they don't have to deal with the periods at all.
Best of luck to you.

that's the IUD device right? I have that ( i forgot the name that's why I asked) I hardly bleed or sometimes I get a normal period. or I might skip a month completely. Instead of asking people on yahoo just call up your OB or midwife and ask them instead. I think preg questions should be directed to doctors not people on yahoo.. but If i were you I wouldnt worry . Ask your doc anyways tho.

I doubt it. I have Mirena and don't even have real periods any more. If you are truly concerned take a test.
