Removal of the appendix is an appendectomy
Removal of the tonsils is a tonsillectomy
Removal of hemorrhoids is a hemorrhoidectomy
It depends on the type of growth on the head, could be lumpectomy, could be carcinectomy if cancerous, or fibrodectomy (non cancerous fibriod tumor)
