A video transmitter requires a wide bandwidth and are not easy to design. Maybe the best way for you to build your own video transmitter is to buy a kit. The link below may help.

That would be extremely difficult to do unless you are an experienced electronics engineer or technician. But there is no need to make your own. You can buy simple, easy to use video transmitters at www.supercircuits.com. They specialize in video security and surveillance equipment and they have several configurations to choose from. Tell them Boodye Electric recommended them; maybe they'll toss me a cookie.
Also, you might try Ramsey Kits; I think they have them too, at least they used to. Good luck.
