do you have a sore throat?
could it be tonsilloliths?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonsilloliths
Here's the wiki page for Halitosis-
maybe it will give you some other ideas, because SO MANY things can give you bad breath:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halitosis
"Though the causes of breath odor are not entirely understood, most unpleasant odors are known to arise from food debris trapped in the mouth which is processed by normal mouth flora; there are over 600 types of bacteria found in the average mouth. Several dozen of these can cause trouble when allowed to flourish or are genetically disposed to overpopulate. Large quantities of these naturally-occurring bacteria are often found on the posterior of the tongue, where they are undisturbed by normal activity. The rough surface of the tongue dorsum provides an ideal habitat for anaerobic bacteria, which flourish under a continually-forming tongue coating of food debris, dead cells, and hundreds of thousands of bacteria, living and dead. When left on the tongue, the anaerobic respiration of such bacteria can yield either the putrescent smell of polyamines, or the "rotten egg" smell of volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) such as hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan and dimethyl sulfide, depending on the bacteria type. It is generally these compounds which, when mixed with mouth air and exhaled, produce unpleasant breath. Other causes of chronic bad breath may be periodontitis (gum disease), helminthiasis (intestinal parasitic infections), diabetes, kidney failure, sinusitis, tonsilloliths, gastroesophageal reflux disorder (GERD), trimethylaminuria (TMAU), hormonal changes, and a wide variety of prescription drugs (especially when taken on a longterm basis)."

Have you started taking any new medications? Some are well known for causing bad breath, metallic taste or bitter taste in mouth, or drying out the mucous membranes of the mouth which leads to decreased saliva. That lack of saliva then may contribute to bacteria not being washed away, thus leaving you with bad breath. If you're taking Lunesta for sleep, bad taste/bad breath is the #1 reason people stop taking it. Whatever new medication you may be taking, it might help if you googled it to see if any of the symptoms you're experiencing are side effects of that drug. There usually is an alternative drug that the Dr. can substitute that may not effect you in that way. Hope this helps, and good luck!!!!

Bad breath is caused often because you haven't brushed and flossed well .If you don't keep teeth and gums free of the bacterial buildup, they'll start to cause odor as the bacteria rot leftover food particles in your mouth. A few seeds of cardamon chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. A bad taste in the mouth can be a result of medications or various diseases. It could be something as simple as a vitamin deficiency or an allergy. Hopefully, in your case it is something simple and not serious.
A metallic taste could indicate problems associated with various medications, and oral problems, including oral infections such as gingivitis or periodontitis, tooth infections, and poor oral hygiene

Go to your doctor. Contrary to what the chewing gum advertisers would have you believe, it very rarely is dental. Its more commonly a stomach problem. Your doc will check you out, but sometimes fatty and indigestible foods can be to blame.

Sounds like post-nasal drip.
Google it and have a look at the symptoms.
The only other thing it could be is gastric probs.
Go see you gp if it continues to get a professional diagnosis.
Good luck.

Sounds to me like it maybe sinusitis. Are you having headaches and pain around the eyes too? If this is the case a course of antibiotics from the docs should clear it up, good luck.

Have you been on antibiotics? do you drink alcohol or caffeine-drinks? Do you eat lots of sugar? do you get stressed a lot?
Try a probiotic called align.
If it works, try the candida cleanser on a candida diet. Research it!!
