About 4 yrs ago I begged God to just let me die. I took 26 pills of various types and went to bed. I woke up 26 hours later. I went to my doctor's office because I wasn't feeling right and I told him what I did. He run many tests to check my heart and such. My blood work showed levels of certaun things that proved that I did in fact take these pills. My EKG showed that my heart was out of sync. After another day of resting, all my vital were stable and I went back home. Two doctors had looked my straight in my eyes and told me that by all means I should have died within 2 hours after taking those pills. That I overdosed and they can't explain why I didn't die. My doc said it was a miracle.

I was confused and talked to God for a few days about this. I went to Mass for the first time in years and that days readings and the priest's homily was about darkness on one's soul and how God's holy Spirit and help you get out of this dark place and find the light. I cried all day and felt that those readings were directed at me. I started going to Mass, I joined a Bible study group, reading the Bible, made new friends, went to a counselor for depression, etc. I love the Lord! Not only did He save me from dying, He saved me from myself. I am reborn and I will never turn my back on Him again. That's why I talk about Him so much.

In my life I can say that since living my life in Spirit I have become a lot less judgemental and more compassionate and patient with other people. That is a gift of Holy Spirit. I also find that when other people do mean things to me I find it easy to forgive as My Father forgives me. I would have to say that studying the Bible, inviting the Living Word to form in us and prayer , Communion with the Living God, definate signs of Spirit. Once I came into a real fellowship with my LORD through the power of Holy Spirit I love talking and listening to Jesus. Joy , Joy, Joy another tell tale sign of Holy Spirit.

When you have unconditional love and compassion for all people of the world regardless of their religious beliefs... and when you shed materialism for a spiritualistic perspective.

The Spirit of God is nondenominational. Please go back to the original teachings of Christ and shed the self-serving television profits.

Beware of those who claim to be Christians but who are not. Please reference the earlier quote:

"2Tim 3:13) But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

Just claiming to be a Christian is not good enough to be a Christian.
