I am anxious to see how Twilight Meteor runs today in the Lane's End, I've been following this horse since last year. He is eligible to run in the Queen's Plate since he is a Canadian bred, but I think if he does well today he may get the nod for the Derby.
I want to see Nobiz Like Shobiz's next race to see if they have worked the "green-ness" out of him. Street Sense looked good in his comback, beware Carl Nafzger ! He's been in the business a long time... he turned most of his stable over to long time assistant Ian Wilkes. But he's very hands on when it comes to Street Sense.
Circular Quay looks like a tough cookie too.
*** Added Note*** Couldn't have been more wrong about Twilight Meteor. Hard Spun looked like a new horse yesterday! He will have to go back into consideration! He sure ran a great race, and didn't have to be on the lead. He did what you like to see in a horse at this time of year... he LEARNED from his loss at Oaklawn. I sure would like to see Nobiz learn from his loss, cause he is still my top choice.

The fastest horse on Derby Day! Street Sense and Circular Quay are looking very good, but you never know until the race is over!

Circular Quay, Scat Daddy, Street Sense, Great Hunter... superfecta!
not Nobiz because of the fountain of youth
not Stormello because he ran as a leader and faded in the fountain of youth and the Derby is a longer race
I like Notional too, but didn't have room for him.
And Hard Spun ran great today (he tucked in behind the leaders in third and waited for the last turn, then ran away from the pack... it was a really strong run), but I really didn't like his last race at Oaklawn.

Well my top 5 picks would probably be...
1st- Nobiz Like Shobiz
2nd- Hard Spun
3rd- Circular Quay
4th- Curlin (he's a new contender undefeated in 2 races)
5th- Stormello
If you would like to stay up-dated on the Kentucky Derby 133 then just go to...

Any Given Saturday, at least I think that's his name, is a really good contender. He gave Street Sense a nice challenge in their last race together, don't remember what that race was.
I really love Street Sense though and I hope he can beat that jinx of no Juvenile winner winning the Derby.

Notional/Scat Daddy/Stormello seems plausible enough. But I think Street Sense looks really good, too.

NOTIONAL BY 2 1/2 lengths beating SCAT DADDY, STORMELLO, third.
You heard it from me first.
I've won and run third twice in National Handicapping Tournaments.
