Whenever I acoste aquaintances with my national origin I get awkward " ohhh Belgium", then they start speaking to me in high school German.

Belgium is located in Europe, rite next to Germany and just above France.

Its jammed in there with the Netherlands and Luxembourg, together forming the Benelux countries. In western Europe, north of france.

I know what you mean! I'm from Cyprus, the same thing happens to me except that they have no clue if it is even a country, let alone where it is!
