My favorite remedy is to hold hydrogen peroxide in your mouth for 3 minutes, then gargle it as long as possible. Use another mouthful if it becomes too bubbly. Do this ever two hours and it should help a lot. Hot teas, hot beverages will take the soreness out too. Use two or three drops of the perxoide in each ear letting it soak in 5 or 10 minutes. This will relieve soreness in ears and all this together will help your nose drain. Also start taking 1000 mg of Vitamin C every hour for 6 hours. If you are not better by tomorrow, I will be surprised!!

Steam, hot drinks, and zinc lozenges. And consider adding extra vitamin C, if you think you're coming down with a cold. And spicy foods: There is something about them that a lot of germs don't like.

Good luck!

Sudafed and Ibuprofen. They even make one pill with both in it so u dont have to take more than one pill at a time. But it works great and clears up very fast.
