I found this question and it was worthy of being repeated, because there were really no good answers.

Please think about this, and use your God given sense of reason...

You might want to look at the following Scripture:
Psalm 115:16: "As regards the heavens, to Jehovah the heavens belong, But the earth he has given to the sons of men."

If Adam and Eve were originally created to live forever, and they must have been, or God's warning to them that they would die if disobedient would not have held much weight...so if they were meant to live forever, how then would they have gotten to heaven if obedient? Earth, therefore was created for humans, as heaven was created for spirit creatures...we are human! God created us to live forever on earth...why is that concept, which is so simple, so difficult for so many to understand...could it be because
"it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers,"

The answer lies in the fact that we need to consider reading the entire Bible and not rely on our opinion. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17) Thus to one studing the Bible the question is valid.
First of all, here is what God set before Adam and Eve: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” (Notice he told them to: 'Be fruitful and become many and FILL the EARTH and SUBDUE it')

Has God’s original purpose for the earth changed?

According to Gen. 1:27, 28: Thus God indicated his purpose to have the earth filled with the offspring of Adam and Eve as caretakers of a global paradise. After God had magnificently designed this earth for human habitation, making it unique among all the planets that man has examined with his telescopes and spaceships, did the Creator simply abandon his purpose, leaving it forever unfulfilled because of Adam’s sin?
Isa. 45:18: “This is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the true God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: ‘I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.’” (See also Isaiah 55:10, 11; Ps. 37:29)

At Gen. 1:28; 2:16, 17 we read next: "And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: ‘From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.’”
Hence, Adam had a choice He could live forever by obeying his heavenly Father, Jehovah God or choose his own course therefore allowing his family to suffer the consequences of his own willful action. However, Adam chooses the latter. According to the Scriptures he willfully allowed himself by 'being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death'-James 1:14, 15;

Why did God not forgive Adam and so prevent the terrible suffering experienced by mankind?

Would that really have prevented suffering or would it, instead, have made God responsible for it? What happens when a father simply overlooks deliberate wrongdoing on the part of his children rather than take firm disciplinary measures? The children often get involved in first one form of wrongdoing and then another, and much of the responsibility lies with the father.
Similarly, if Jehovah had forgiven Adam’s deliberate sin, it would really have made God a party to the wrongdoing. That would not have improved conditions on earth at all. (Compare Ecclesiastes 8:11.) Furthermore, it would have resulted in disrespect for God on the part of his angelic sons, and it would mean that there was no real basis for hope of anything better. But such a situation could never have occurred, because righteousness is an unalterable foundation of Jehovah’s rulership.—Ps. 89:14.

Also, if God foreordained and foreknew Adam’s sin and all that would result from this, it would mean that by creating Adam, God deliberately set in motion all the wickedness committed in human history. He would be the Source of all the wars, the crime, the immorality, the oppression, the lying, the hypocrisy, the disease. But the Bible clearly says: “You are not a God taking delight in wickedness.” (Ps. 5:4) “Anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates.” (Ps. 11:5) “God . . . cannot lie.” (Titus 1:2) “From oppression and from violence he [the One designated by God as Messianic King] will redeem their soul, and their blood will be precious in his eyes.” (Ps. 72:14) “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) “He is a lover of righteousness and justice.”—Ps. 33:5.

Thus, God had good reasons for being long-suffering, or slow to anger, in this case. If he had executed those rebels at once, this would not have answered the Devil’s implicit taunt that Jehovah God does not deserve to be worshiped and that he cannot have human servants who will keep their integrity to him regardless of circumstances. Moreover, such questions as these would have been left unanswered: Whose fault was it that Adam and Eve sinned? Did Jehovah first create them so morally weak that they could not resist temptation and then punish them for failing to do so? The answer to all of this is apparent from the account found in the book of Job, chapters 1 and 2. By permitting the human race to increase, Jehovah allowed humans to have opportunities to prove Satan’s charges false.

In conclusion, the day of accounting with God will come. At that time he will punish the wicked, destroying them forever. Proverbs 2:21, 22 says: “The upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.” Then the upright ones, many of whom have suffered adversity, will enjoy perfect health and a generous share of earth’s abundant produce.

Well, children would remain children for over 100 years, as they matured slower. Imagine chasing after a child in the terrible 2s stage for over 20 years, or having a teenager for over 50 years.

Population would have grown much slower, but I think by now we would be out exploring the universe, as the Earth could only have held so many people with everlasting life. Since we would have 100% of our mental capabilities, we may have even done it without a space ship.

With our metal capabilities, we would likely even know what is at the bottom of the oceans. Currently we know less about the oceans than we do about the moon.

A study done by the U of Michigan and presented on the Discovery Health Channel titled, "The Amazing Life of the Human Brain" shows that the brain has the capacity to create new synaptic connectors for the long term storage of memories, to last over 10,000 years.

At my now one year pass my half century point, I look back and remember how much I didn't know, when I thought I knew it all, and how much there is still to learn.

There are those who feel that they got 2 at the same time individual commandments, Stay within the Garden sinless and clueless and immortal with out posterity vs Leave the Garden, come to be mortal and feature youngsters, take a threat on sin and depend on Atonement. We must be thankful that Eve took the lead and allowed us to return into being. The different choice might have annoyed God's plan however the option needed to be freely made.

Well, they would not have been clicked out of Eden, which brings another question : What is the garden of eden really? a place here on earth (nature, literal garden) or a spiritual place/state of minde, here on earth?

And they would have been able to live forever. This also brings another Q. Live forever as in, body bieng alove here on earth forever or soul living forever even after body dies.

So i guess that they would have either been here with us, now. Or they would have been in some kind of other place, like with God or something. But one thing is fr sure, they would have still been alive.

All this however, depends on whether I belive that Adam and Eve were the only humans to be created in the beginning or if i belive that God used evolution to create, in which case, i would probably see the creation story and then Adam and Eve as only a poetical reperesentation of how ppl were created, which causes even more questions but answers quite a few aswell.

The answer to ur question is...according to the Book, there is a Paradise where Adam and Eve lived...but since they broke the rules, the got kicked out and put here on Earth, with Satan. Satan is the one always convincing to do what's wrong so that we are far away from God and we can't enter Paradise again after we die. Which means Paradise is only for those who do righteous deeds and remember God through daily prayer. The unbelievers however, will go to a Fiery Pit when they die because they did not take the Straight Way. I think u are mixed up about facts. Please read the Qur'an if U want truth

Adam and Eve story is an attempt to describe to human beings why everything is not given, why good people suffer, why there are bad people who profit. It is an attempt to blame a human action for the reality around them - a magical act - which like most magical thinking is very unsane.

As far as not sinning, then where does the story go? Ask any author of a verbal tale or written, where does a story go with no tension, no fall? Absolutely nowhere. You certainly would not have humans in that state! Humans are curious, changeable, and dare to do things denied them.

Adam and Eve, as a story, actually shows humans doing pretty well. They ate of the Tree, did they die? No, not then. Did they become wise, absolutely.

Good question.

Had Adam and Eve not transgressed against God's commandment you wouldn't be here asking this question and all the responses provided would not be given either. Why? Because Adam and Eve would remain in their pure innocence, never knowing good from evil and tasting the joys of parenthood.
