The best vacation website that I have seen for going any where in the world is www.virturaltourist.com its allows you to visit the country you wish to go to, and then have the people that live there give you the answer. Its great. Try it and you will like it. Really.

www.Tripadvisor.co.uk is good for research. Look at all the feedback & take an overall opinion of each hotel etc as there are quite a few wingers that leave feedback. I find it a useful website for my travels.
