From 2 years ago I've wanted to get a monroe piercing!!!
Some people have told me that it would suit me and i should get it done and others have said not to because it can lead to infection!! Is this true? Does this mean i shouldn't get it done??? Help !!!

If you really want it get it! with every piercing there is a risk, and last I knew that was part of the fun of it- right? the Monroe piercing is not one of the most dangerous things you can choose, for instance getting your tongue pierced has MANY more risks- and how many people have one?-- exactly Go for it!! I bet if you put a little sparkley stud in there it will be gorgeous! GOOD LUCK!!

i think they can look very tasteful on the right person, and yes there is always a chance of infection, if not taken care of properly, but hey, iuf you want it, get it! what the worst that can happen? if you dont like it, just take it out. thats what i love about piercings, as opposed to tattoos if you dont like them, you can just take it out.

i have my tounge, nipples, eyebrow, and ears pierced. monroes are soo cute. any piercing can get infected if you dont take care of it. simply clean it with softsoap antibacterial hand soap once a day and clean it with sea salt n warm water twice a day... the soap kills bacteria, and the salt fights infection. if you take care of your piercings they wont get infected.

If you take care of it correctly and follow the follow-up instructions, I don't see why not! I would like one, but I don't think it would really look right on me-but I think they are sexy on the right faces. Go ahead!
