He was make 2nd favorite rookie last year (after Sorenson). And, he has been steadily climbing my list of favorite drivers. Actually, he creeped into the top-10. He is a great driver, and everyone would have been talking about him if Hamlin didn't steal the show last year. He had a great rookie season, as opposed to Hamlin's outstanding one. In time, he will be one of the 5 best in the field (Bowyer).

He's a great talent. He sometimes is a little overzealous which tears up equipment. And he gets involved in some hard crashes like Daytona in 07, Texas in 04, Nashville in '04.
But some people have kept the fab shop busy and turned out great. Jeff Gordon tore up a lot of stuff in his first season. But Childress has confidence in him. By the way, anyone notice he has the same name as the Forest Maze boss named "Bowyer" who is shaped like a bow and shoots arrows in Super Mario RPG on SNES? If anyone has played the game you know what I mean.

I like the guy - what's not to like about that Daytona 500 finish? People will remember him for that for a long time to to come.
There is someone in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series who definitely doesn't like him - Todd Bodine. I thought this article was pretty amusing actually, hard to tell exactly what is behind it.

He seems like a driver with increasing potential every week. Not to mention he's driving for a well respected car owner in Richard Childress.

He is a nice guy

Not anymore.I mean he was a good Busch driver but as with J.J. as soon as he hit Cup he just went stupid.Beleive me there are others too.
Yhay's all I have to say about that.
