my boyfriend (16)and i(15) have not had sex yet but we both are not virgins i was thinking about asking him to get tested before we do but he hasnt told his parents that he is sexually active if he goes to the doctor to get tested will his parents know? ...and i also want to get tested just to make sure but my parents dont know im sexually active either can i go to the doctor without them knowing im getting tested?....and what kind of doctor do you have to go to to get tested .....?

Do you have a planned parent hood where you live? It is a place for both male and females they do stuff like sex counseling and std testing, help with decisions on unwanted pregnancy's.They are confidential, but you have to have a form of payment that is not your parents insurance because then they will know, they have to authorize payment.

SWEETIE JUST STOP HAVING SEX. I am 20 with two babies. Not a real brilliant idea.
Just tell your parents (BEFORE something bad happens) chances are if you have sex unprotected, which I am guessing you do, somewhere down the line you will have sex with the wrong person (an AIDS person) and yes most likely you will DIE from a disease like pneumonia. Or you'll get a ton of nice purplish cancerous blotches all over your skin, then you'll die.
Even if you don't get one of those, there have been new strains of Clamydia, and Gonoreah (I am sorry not proper spelling) that have NO CURE as of now... they have mutated so antibiotics don't work. Keep the damn zipper up and don't be a fool.
Additionally, look online for a family health or family planning clinic... If you want to go on BCP's you have to take them the same time every day and can not miss... I got pregnant this way... Also there are other alternatives, Depo shots, vaginal rings, etc.

wow your 15 and not a virgin people lose their virginity pretty young these days well you guys are old enough to have sex if you were they you would had no promblem getting tested but anyway there are some places that test you for std privately but its a good idea to get tested that 1 sign you are acting responsible

see a doctor you feel comfortable with and they must maintain a confidentiality ie they cant tell anyone what goes on ---- any doctor can help you and if you had and continue to use protection then the risks of disease and/or pregnacy are minimal --- best wishes to you both

There are states which have places you can get tested
confidentially without anyone knowing. Look into it in your
neighborhood or ask a counselor in your school. They keep
things confidential. You parents won't know.

hiya im not sure but i think that u can go to the doctors completely confidentially and i think you can go to an ordinary doctors or they have specialised youth places too. you can also ask to speak to just a female doctor if you wanted.
