I have naturally wavy/ curly hair and i use hair products on it made specailly for people with curly hair..i like my hair but sometimes I wanna have straight hair so i straighten it with my flat iron. But i hate how it looks straighht.I want my hair to be thicker and more full when it's straight. I have no problem with making my hair fuller or anything when it's curly..just when i straighten it..it doesn't look how i want it to.Any suggestions?

i have the same problem and luckily there is a solution! when i went to my stylist she told me that all you had to do is one simple technique and it helps sooo much!

-first just straighten your hair like normal
-then lift up a layer of hair on the top of your hair (or for me on the side bcuz thats where my part is)
-take a comb (preferrably with the teeth close together) and friz or tease the bottom of that peice of hair towards your roots
-then set it back down and smooth it out on top

if you do this all around the top of your head then it will give the appearance that your hair is thick and luscious! i hope it wasn't too hard to understand... i'mn ot the best at explaining but good luck and i hope it looks fabulous! :D

after you straighten it with a flat iron, i recommend that you put your hair in rollers (just pin them in. NOT HOT ROLLERS OR SPONGE ROLLERS). that way when you take them out you will have some volume at the root.

leave them in for like 30 minutes.
