well if you have enough money to pay for it yourself go without her. or just tell her how you want it and if she says you can only get it cut short don't get it cut. or be really nice to her and say please!

I had the same problem i really wanted my hair to have layers and i just got a magazine and showed my mum she thought it was nice and now i have layers!!
Good Luck :D
TIP: Make sure you have someone with you like a parent because sometimes the hairdresser misunderstands and cuts it really short!!! :S

So why not just go out and get it done in the hairdressers yourself?! I am assuming you are allowed to go into town with your mates and stuff right? If so then go to one of those no appointment hairdressers like SuperCuts or something, they are usually quite cheap as well! (Thinking how much a 13 yr old is likely to have! =) ) Or even make an appointment a week or so in advance.....it shouldn't be too difficult!
It's your hair hun, you can't just get it done how your mum wants! =) Good Luck!

cut out a picture in a magazine that you want your hair to look like. then just go up to your mom and say i want my hair this length and style what do you think. that way if she says no you can just keep your hair now and save the fight at the salon.
i did it for a semi formal and she let me get curls.

At your age your old enough to be able to choose style for your self. I would sit down with your mum and tell her how you feel. Talk to her about the lengh that you want it or alternativly ask if you would be able to go to a salon to have it done.
Good Luck xoxoxo
