I keep reading comments like "the end is soon" and "soon you will face judgement". How soon? Is there some date someone can set, where if Christ returns you're right and if he doesn't, you're wrong and will stop yammering about the end of the world? At what date will you say "hmmm, it's been too long, I guess no one's coming?" It's been a couple thousand years, how soon is soon?

I don't know, but people have been saying that the end is near for hundreds of years. The Bible says that wars, floods, famines, and earthquakes are signal that the end is near....Those NATURAL DISASTERS and wars have been happening throughout history. Go figure. Some prophecy...that's like saying that people will die when they get old. Stupid.

I have been around for a long long time, so I've seen many world endings come and go. Every couple of years someone comes up with a very good reason why the world will end on a certain day. Many many of those last days have come and gone. But here I am pounding on this stupid keyboard.

Jesus has been "coming back" for the past 2000 years. At the turn of the first millennium (999 to 1000) It was believed that Jesus would come back then. Whoops! Didn't happen. Even with the millennium that just passed, I heard he was coming then too. Whoops! Didn't happen. I am so tired of packing my bags and getting all ready for this to happen and then POOF, nothing does. Its almost like getting stood up for a date. I am just sitting on the curb, suitcase in hand, waiting. Looking like and idiot. This must be what its like to be religious. Well I dont like it. Guess thats why I am not religious
So, I agree with you, there really needs to be a date set so I can pack my bags one last time and I wont have to worry about it anymore.

Just for the Individual....

(Hebrews 9:27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

And for the End of the Age...

(Matthew 25:13) Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

i think of it is, in case you're gaining sufficient... i think of he means in case you dont bypass into exertions via the fortieth week then you definately can get prompted and have a date set to realize this, that is not any huge deal. you purely bypass in and get the traditional IV besides and that they placed pitossin in there and it starts your contractions, then he breaks your water. you maximum probable will bypass into exertions earlier that. i think of he mentioned something approximately it because of the fact maximum females people at your point are so uncomfortable they like to recognize that the top is coming quickly!! Thumbs down? Ah properly - i think of the document became purely attempting to be earlier than the sport and wasnt going to bring about till after the due date.... purely had to set a date in case, maybe so he didnt get crammed up with habitual appointments -all i became attempting to assert. (they mentioned they have been going to set a date on the 36 apt, no longer that they have got been going to bring about then!)

Only God knows the exact time and hour.
Anyone else is just full of it.
You want a date.
When you notice millions of believers disappear, well, then the time has arrived.
Don't you believe it was some alien abduction.
You get out your dusty Bible, Just Kidding, and read it and pray, before it is too late.
Infact get out your Bible now, read it and get into a good church and pray, ask God to come into your heart, then you can focus on life and your purpose here. Rather than when that final day will come.

When your time is up on earth is the "soon" for you. If you were to be called by Christ right now, are you ready??? That is the soon that each and every one should be concerned about.

Many have set dates for it. You probably remember how popular Jan. 1, 2007 was set bet numerous religious leaders.

The one thing every one of them has had in common is that they were wrong.

Nobody knows the day you will die, but if you live an average life, you'll live to be in the late 70's, early 80's.....
