I need something that gently clenses, adds moisture, and leaves your hair manageable & soft.

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types whcih are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!

Hi, I'm 32..so I've had years of trying different shampoos to see how they work.
When I was on a budget, I found the Aussie shampoo's and conditioners to be wonderful.
Now that I'm older, and have a little more to spend, my favorite shampoo's are salon quality. I used to use Biolage products a lot.
In the last year I have discovered Matrix Sleek Look shampoo and conditioner. These are gentle but they work wonders. My hair is wavy so I have issues with tangling and the occasional frizz bomb. Since I started using this Matrix line I rarely have to comb my hair forever to get the tangles out. Not only that but the frizz factor is very low too. They also have some products to help keep your hair looking sleek and I love them.
Phillip B makes a fantastic shampoo but it is outrageously expensive. It smells wonderful and your hair is incredibly soft and manageable. But it's price is a problem...so unless you can find a sight where you can get a discount on it..you probably won't want to try it.
Good luck with your search! I have heard great things about Dove's shampoo..I haven't tried that yet.
Just a note: when I was in Navy boot camp, we used Prell to clean our showers. No kidding. If that's what it does to a bathroom floor and tile, you can imagine what that would do to your hair. I'd say stay away from that one.

For my hair i have 2 different shampoos that i like. Sleek Look by Matrix. It comes in a bright orange bottle. it smells awesome and leaves your hair very soft, but it is best of straighter hair as it can deaden curls (according to my hairstylist). The conditioner that goes with the sleek look shampoo is amazing. I have been using it for years. You pay more for it, but it is worth the money. and for my long thick hair i only need about a pea sized drop to condition my hair.

and Pantene Brunette Expressions. If you have, brown hair. it add shine and moisture it is awesome.

The best thing would be to ask your stylist and see what he/she reccomends for your hair type.

I would recommend Pantene shampoo & conditioner all in one. There are many types of Pantene shampoo but I use the shampoo that has blue on the bottle. I use all their products & my hair has never been in such great shape as it has been since I began using Pantene products. I especially like the spray in/leave in conditioner. I use it twice a week for added conditioning. Great smelling products & not costly!

I would deff. recommend any biolage products, the shampoo and conditioner are used in many salons and leave your hair feeling like you just left the hair salon. They also have many other products to improve your hair aswell like deep conditioner that you can leave in over night and rinse by morning leaving your hair feeling silky and smooth. You can find biolage at any convenient grocery store near you. Good luck!

pantene, everyone says its bad for your hair, but its actually not! what the hairdressers dont like about it is that it leaves a coat on your hair, and what they hate about that is it locks your hair in a way, its just hard for them to put another colour because you have a protective coating over your hair follicle, to avoid this situation, just dont condition your hair within 2 days of going to the hair dressers.

Depends on what your hair needs. I use Dove, it's pretty good, makes my hair silky and shiny, and Herbal Essences, give pretty nice wavy hair with volume.
