I am 14 years old almost 15, and I have never talked to my mom about going out with someone. No one has asked me out this year... but when should I be able to have an open conversation about dating? Help please!

Well this is the first step. You are having an open conversation. Why not have a chat with your mom, I know it's awkward and all that but you'd be suprised what wisdom she might have to offer. She was your age once believe it or not and I'm sure felt the same way you do. Good luck and you should start dating when you feel you are ready. Chat it out with your mom, it won't kill you:)

I'm glad you're waiting to date. When you are ready, try to go out with other kids your age in groups, rather than you and a boy. Temptations are great than and you might do something you wish you hadn't. Talk to your mom about it too. Mom's have been there and they are full of wisdom.

You should talk to your mom about it, you should be able to be open about your curiosities of the opposite sex. I think you are too young to date, you should be concentrating on other things, you've got the rest of your life to worry about boys. But this should be a decision you make with the one person(s) who can give you the most quidance, your parents.

you should be able to talk to your mom. about anything, but you have your whole life ahead of you. when someone ask, you will know when it is the right time, and just as long as it doesn't interfer with school, homework, I don't see nothing wrong with it. good luck. you will find someone special to you.

i think its about the right time to start dating...sit down with your mom and say theres someone you like and ask her if you have her permission to date him if he by any chances asks you out. thats my opinion but my parents don't give a crap bout me dating....and i am 1 year younger

uhm, dont worry. just talk to ur mom. she will understand cuz she has already been there and done that with dating. just tell her that u feel u r ready, but if she doesnt want u to date, then that is ok too. u will have ur chance eventually!!!! hope this helps!

kid around with her...be like...mom my bf is coming over tonight.see what she says..thats what i did.If shes cool with it then its a go and if shes not talk to her ...moms usually are open to that stuff...remember they were your age once too!
