i like this guy and i don't know if he likes me back. we are friends with different groups of people so we never really talk, but i see him at lunch everyday and sometimes inbetween classes. i dont want to scare him off, what should i do?

How do you know that you like him if you never talk?
Start a converstaion with him, and you'll find
A. you Do like him and then you'll have allready made the first move... OR
B. He's not that great after all. ..
So there is no pressure in the first conversation.

If there is a reason for the different groups, there also may be a reason for the separation. Some group due to class association, others due to affiliation with things they do together, and others because they just seem to hit it off in the way they think and act. You should try to see this guy outside the group and try to determine if he has interest in you away from the groups or if he wants to adopt you into his group to be with you. Else, he just wants to be a popular guy in his own group and probably never will take a shine to you

I guess the first step would be talking to him. How do you know if you like him if you dont ever talk to him? So why dont you write him a note if you are in high school or just go up and talk to him. If you are friend with someone he is friends with have them talk to him for you. Thats all you can really do

Hmm, this had happened to me too, but it worked out fine. Anyways, what you shoud do is just approach him with a "Hi" one day and then go from there. Try to be friends and been even more after talking and getting to know each other more. That should help build interest in one another, so, yeah. I wish you luck!

Flirt with him and see if he responds. Ask around and find out if he is single. You can tell if someone likes you so I think you already know the answer to your question.If he is single and he seems to like you flirt and see if he will ask you out. If he doesn't then you can ask him out but make it a casual thing such as doing homework together or having lunch.Good luck
