Your brother is suffering from symptoms of Schizophrenia. There is help to dampen his auditory symptoms, and it seems he has tactile hallucinations as well.
Take him to your city or county mental health clinic. I worked as a psychologist in one, we take anyone but you have to claim financial need.
Ignore that idiot who said take him to the hospital, they will run up bills into the tens of thousands of dollars do NOT do that. It's not an emergency. Take him to a county mental health clinic on Monday.
He is unlikely to hurt someone else. He might hurt himself. Get him on medication and in therapy.

I had a similar problem such as this. There are many of things you could do like; religous assistance (free), medical assistance which also have side affects, deal with and to beat that spirit out him. Im not trying to tell you that religion or violence is the answer however i wouldnt wont my brother to be on any drugs that will have him feeling depressed or not the same person he was before he started takeing any medication. Sometimes medications could make things worst that can not be reverse. I know you probably seen those "exiaty"? commercails where the male voice says "if your still having thoughts of commiting suicide or these thoughts have worsen please consult your doctor".
If you do consult medical assistance you should also think about a mental health phacility.
-I was with my neighbor 3months ago to go and visit my "use to be best friend" in a mental health phacility. If could do something different i wouldnt have told her parents she was thinking suicidle, well at least not like i told them.

Almost all of the above answers have value.
However, I'd like to add two things.
First of all, if he ever looks like he's going to harm himself again, take him immediately to the emergency room. That is the best way to get him medicated and, hopefully, stabilized.
Secondly, support groups and information can be found through NAMI, the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, telephone 1-800-NAMI, website www.nami.org. They will give you and your family a lot of help and info to get through the system, which is what you really need. Your family seems to be at a loss as to what to do and this would be the basic step. Furthermore, I believe the medical care for the mentally ill is free because they cannot be responsible for their actions.
Just one other thing: life in the family is often wreaked by the problems created by the ill family member. There are support groups out there that can aid the whole family.

Go to the Court House. Ask for a probable cause order for mental hygiene hearing. The sheriff's dept will come to your house and get him. He will be taken to the local ER where a Dr will deem him in need of psychiatric evaluation. He will go to the nearest Psych Hosp. for a 72 hr hold. If he expresses any suicidal or homicial behaviors he will be committed for 30 days, this will give them time to talk to the entire family. Be aware that at the Mental Hygiene hearing you may have to testify. It will be simple just say what you heard him say. I hope you do this because he will eventually hurt himself or someone else without help.

The first thing you have to do is take him to the hospital. You can then later worry about the payments. Its better to have your brother alive and pay then not have him EVER again and not pay. The money shouldn't be the issue here, you and your parents need to take him so they can give him some help. He might not be (Crazy) so to speak he probably just needs advice. Talk to him and tell him what are these voices trying to tell him? and if he can talk back to them.... why??????

I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL but my father started feeling that way in his late teens, and now he is a diagnosed Paranoid Schizophrenic. Why you should try to get him into a mental program ASAP- because he could become manic and he COULD imagine you are causing the bugs or whatever and he could hurt you or your family-IF HE GETS NO HELP! There are very good anti-psychotics out there and your brother DESERVES help. Good luck, sister!

The first step is to call 911 or take him to the closest emergency room if he is a danger to himself or others.
He obviously needs help and needs is loved ones to get him the help he needs.
There are many new medications these days that can help him but the first step is to get him to a hospital asap.

I agree, he isn't crazy. He needs help, I don't know where. Get him a phyciastrist. But maybe he just needs to ask the ghosts what they want from him, and why do they want this? Ask the ghosts why they touch him. I think you should stay with him for a while, comfort him. See if you can feel them to.
