well how short did you cut it when she makes you get it cut ask the lady/man to give you side swoop bangs and if its really short then just be creative and use some gel and spike it unless you don't like that if you have curly hair it won't look good at all short so cut it by your self again but good or if you have a friend that would cut it for you then do that.

I presume if you cut your hair 3 weeks ago and your mum doesn't know, then you don't live with her and you're old enough to make your own decisions, so just tell her you don't want your hair cut short.

I am a mom and the way I see it you care about your mom's opinion so try helping her see that she was your age once and I'm pretty sure that at some point she wanted to do some type of hair style and her parents did to her what she is trying to do to you we as parents sometimes need to be reminded that we were younger once upon a time. Heads up!!! better to find things out from you rather than one of her friends!

Tell your mom that you don't want your hair short because everyone in school will think you're gay(hey it happened to me, that's why I hate short hair on me).

Well it is your HAIR eh? I mean just be aware that it is YOUR decision when you come of age... ask your mother WHY she wants your HAIR a certain way?? Is she looking out for YOU or does she have ALTERIOR motives??
JUST BE CAREFUL WITH SCISSORS(the beautitians first GENERAL lesson)

You are obviously of age (unless you're in a boarding school) and living on your own. She doesn't really have control over your hair anymore, does she? Take a stand and tell her "no thanks, mum, I do not wish to be hit on by lesbians, thank you!"

Look for pictures of cute, cropped cuts and try to reason with her to get what you want AND what she wants. Here is a picture to get you started and to inspire you:

Of course, you don't have to go with that style. You can do whatever you want! I would reccomend getting some pictures to show your mom, and also to show your hairdresser. Good luck! :]
