sounds like you are either stressed and find this a way to switch of from the problem by focusing on something else. unsettled in life and need to find a new project to get stuck into, have ocd or you know the family may land at any time and are worried as to how the house looks. as long as you dont start clucking or trying to perch on the tiny frames and tweeting merrily im sure youll live.
