I took Spanish 1 & 2 in high school, with a year in between...so I forgot a little bit too. The first few weeks of Sp.2 they reviewed a lot. It wasn't too hard, don't fret. I never took 3, so good luck with that. It shouldn't be to hard, I would definately recommend taking them back to back though. Hope that helped some.

I don't know what 1, 2 or 3 means but... I took spanish in grade 10, 11 and 12 and got very good grades...except grade 10 cause I got kicked out. haha.

Anyhow. It does't necesarily get harder. Just a little more confusing. It gets very grammatical. If you enjoy the knowledge you won't find it hard. I'm a pro now.

Don't worry review is always a part of learning a language. You will probabily being learning

Future, Past Participle, Present Perfect, Past Perfect, Future Perfect, Conditional....umm I've actually forgotten the names for all these things...past preterite, past imperfect...but here are some example of what I learnt in Spanish 12.

1. Es necesario que sepan conducir.

2. Me alegra que no haya examen mañana.

3. Es necesario que durmamos lo suficiente

4.
(a) Es verdad que el dinero es absolutamente indispensable.

(b) No estoy segura de que el dinero sea absolutamente indispensable

5. Sí, creo que es posible que haya fantasmas.

6. Cuando Roberto esté en España, irá a muchas discotecas

7. No era necesario que yo estudiara mucho (this is one of the hardest - but oooh so useful)

8. (a) Ahora la Sra. Mariscal necesita un asistente que sepa programar.

(b) Antes la Sra. Mariscal necesitaba un asistente que supiera escribir a máquina.

In the last unit we did some short story and poem interpretation and even wrote a poem or two...and a bunch of medical terms - mi hermano necesitaba muletas...just an example.

This was the funnest - very tricky....

1. Yo esperaba que tú hubieras ganado mil dólares.

2. El profesor temía que los estudiantes hubieran perdido el partido.

3. La enfermera lamentaba que yo no me hubiera recuperado de la rubéola.

well good luck.... hope that helped. Enjoy - don't panic. I think my spanish is now better than the teacher who kicked me out in tenth grade. hehehee.

anyhow.... ¡Muy buena suerte!

Spanish 2 is similar to spainsh 1. You learn vocab in units. like in the disaster unit you will learn how to say fire and help. Spanish 3 introduces grammer, although you will still learn new vocab as in spainish 2. I've heard that the 3rd year was the hardest, but it doesn't compare to spanish 4... all grammer. Good luck

Yes, they will refresh your memory. And no its not hard if you just study and do what you have to do. To me spanish is easy and not just because i'm half spanish, but because I took my time to sit down, study it and paid attention in class. Trust me if you do that, then you will have no problem!
