If you could stop all rapes, would you? If you could stop all gang violence, would you? If you could stop all crimes against children, would you? I think that answers it. Abortion is Murder, so if murder is illegal... Here is a better way to rephrase that... "If you could save the life of an innocent child, would you?" It's the same question, just the leftist selfish liberals wouldn't make the connection considering they can't see past their own nose to think about anyone else's pain and suffering. This is another person's life you are talking about, the woman has her life, the baby has it's, the mother doesn't have more of a right to kill the baby then the baby has the right to live. The baby has a life too, the baby is just as much human as the woman, what about the babies rights? Once they are born should we be able to kill them too because we had them, they are "ours" and they effect or life? If my daughter makes me late to an appointment, should I be able to kill her because it is my right and it effects my life? That's so rediculous, I wish you people would see how incredibly selfish and stupid you really sound.

Remember, you were all once that baby in the womb too, you are the same person now you were then, should I be able to murder you because you have a different oppinion then I and it's my "right" to have control over (and murder) everything that effects me?

That is one of the hardest questions anyone could possibly ask, and I've been dreading it. I can only speak for myself. I believe that from the first moment of cell formation, a life is created, and to abort that life is murder. Pro life people have a point with their stand on abortion rights. On the other hand I fully understand the concerns of rape victims, unwed mothers to be and the like and feel that they have rights as well. So it's really a matter of whose rights take precedence. The mother to be or the child. While I detest the idea that another child's life may be lost, I feel that the individual must be the ultimate person responsible for that choice. I would like to see all unborn children have at least a fighting chance.

If you could make stupidity illegal, would you? Abortion is a woman's right. End of story. I had an abortion and I laugh in the face of so called 'pro-life'/'anti-choice' misogynists and feel sorry for their children!

So sad, IS IT THE CHILD"S FAULT??? Come on people! Since when has it been OK to kill a person? As far as I know this is called murder. I still believe this is punishable by law and carries a pretty hefty sentence. Mother's rights or not, doesn't that child have some rights here too? Are you not glad your mom chose to have you!? There are other alternatives to abortion that allows the child to live, even in a rape case. It wasn't that child's fault the girl was raped, why should that baby get the death sentence for someone elses mishap??? Start to open your minds and look into things further!!!!! This is one reason why America is falling apart!!

Absolutely not...too many pregnancies result from rape, incest, and rug or alcohol induced events... It would be irresponsible to make abortion legal, and step backwards for women and women's health issues.
Our emotions have made abortion a religious, social and political issue, but in reality it is women's health issue. This is not to say and legitimate partner shouldn't be involved in the decision...

No, not only because it is each woman's individual choice. But if it was to become illegal AGAIN, then you'd end up with the same problem we had before. Woman & girls getting back-room abortions that usually ended up in the woman seriously hurt or dead.

Yes, because the Bible says "Thou shall not commit murder" If you're responsible enough to have unprotected sex then you should be responsible enough to have the baby and give it to someone who wants a child, it's a child not a choice and it shouldn't have to pay for your mistakes with it's life

Heck yes........
I would make it so there had to be a MEDICAL reason to have an abortion, including, but not limited to.....rape, birth defects that would endanger the child's life, chance of harm to the mother, things like that.

If I could save one child's life would I? Of course. Since abortion is murder and the killing of innocent babies, I would have to be one hundred percent for making it illegal. "It is a poverty that a child must die, so that you may live as you please." Mother Teresa said it best!
