I'd like to offer some examples of my husband as the "Ultimate Male."
He is not a model, but he's adorable. He is strong in body and spirit. He is intelligent and has a great sense of humor, and people are drawn to him. He has a strong sense of values, but he is not religious and does not base his behavior on some "reward" he is hoping for in the afterlife. Although he is a "good guy," he would never let himself be a doormat.
He is not afraid to go after what he wants...no matter how ridiculous or impossible his dreams may seem to others. However, he ALWAYS makes sure that my wants / needs / desires are taken care of - he does not get carried away with his own dreams that he forgets about mine.
He always compliments, but never criticizes.
He never raises his voice or his hand to me.
He is always appreciative of me and tells me so - every day.
He is a great listener.
He tries not to burden me with problems he knows will only make me upset; but he doesn't hide things from me either.
The ONLY wish I could possibly have, is that he would be more nurturing. He does not want to be a dad (I respect him for realizing that), and he doesn't do a great job of caring for me when I am ill. I think he would be the ULTIMATE MALE if he could be a loving father to our children (we don't have any).
We have been together for 9 yrs, married for 7.

Someone who will open the door for u and love u more than anything. He'll listen to anything. Maybe I'm talking about a fantasy guy but this would definately be him. If you've seen a Walk to Remember this would definately be the ultimate guy.

OK, it's easy enough to say all the smooth sweet things like caring, understanding blah blah.That stuff is obvious. What you really think, but are afraid to say...he has to look good. He has to take excellent care of himself. Survival of the fittest is engrained in our brains whether we like it or not. Not thinking romantically, we need someone who can protect us, take care of us and no wimpy, gangly guy can do that. Unfortunately for me, it comes down to being treated fairly, having him look great, big muscles to protect and an ego the size of NY state to back up those muscles.

mine, someone who would be there when there is no one else, someone who loves you and never would ask anything of you, who would take care of you no matter if you needed it or not. soft hearted, but yet strong as any other man. someone you know would never stray from home and trust you enough to know you would not either, not jealous, yet knows he is the lucky one with hot babe all the guys gather around, yet knows she loves him and no one could take his place in her heart. to sum it up he really is a knight in shining armor. that's how we became as we are now.

In my opinion he confident, hard worker, intelligent, super funny, patient, kind, considerate, thoughtful, spontaneous, gosh I could go on and on! Thanks this was a awesome question ..I couldn't stop dreaming as I typed what I hope to one day find in a guy!

a man who looks out for your well-being. someone who takes care of you and lets you know what you mean to them. someone who makes you feel like a queen when you are around them
