Profiling occurs no matter who tells you different... This is what they look for:
Old vehicles with expensive tires and rims
Lexus and Infinity vehicles with expensive tires and rims
Cadillac Escapade, GMC Denali and Hummer H2 vehicles with expensive tires and rims
A vehicle that costs more than 50K with a teenager driving it... especially with expensive tires and rims !
Performance cars moving at a high rate of speed !!!
Need I say anymore... get rid of those expensive rims and tires and don't drive DUB edition anything and you can run those drugs up and down the highway without fear of getting caught... I don't think I've ever seen a State Trooper pull over and search a '02 Dodge Caravan !!!

I've heard red is the color most likely to get checked out. It catches eyes more than other colors. Plus sporty vehicles are made for going fast, so they'll always get a little more attention, because you obviously wouldn't buy a sports car if you didn't want to get looked at.

Yeah, I have heard that they are. I have heard that the flashier the car, the more easy it is to see and therefore it stands out in a crowd of vehicles. Just think about how you may be driving on the highway, and you look in your rearview mirror.. you can see a bright red car a mile away, it simply stands out. I would bet that type of vehicle is just that much more easier for the police to pay attention too.

I dont think so, but super flashy in a bad neighborhood draws attention. And A teen driving anything over 50k will certainly get you a second glance.

I have been told by several police officers that flashy sporty type cars always get an extra glance. Light colored sedans are less likely to get a second look.

I have heard that red is a favorite color for police, when it comes to checking things like speeding.

Yes, statistically, red vehicles are pulled over the most and white cars are pulled over the least.

i don't think factory vehicles are looked at to much . When you put some 24 inch rims odds are you will get pulled over soon

The color has nothing to do with it. It all has to do with the actions of the driver.
