I have chin-mix that has always been in bed with us at night. (He is king of the pillows!) Last night he started some strange behavior. It is like he is fearful of the bedroom, in fact when it was time to go bed, he went into the adjourning bathroom and went into the corner. When my husband left for work this morning, he carried him into the bed, and Dexter (pooch) pratically won a race to get out. Does anyone know what possibly could be going on?

There is something there that he is afraid of. Did you buy anything new? Next time he's in the bedroom watch his eyes and see what he's looking at. I have a dog that I have had for years and all of the sudden he was staring on top of a shelf in my bedroom growling. There was a teddy bear up there that had been there forever and thats what he was growling at. I had to take it down and show it to him to get him to settle down. I guess in all those years he had never looked up.

Maybe he fell off the bed and is now scared to get back on?

You know how dogs have that instinct, right? Well maybe he was scared of something that was going to happen. Or maybe he just had a moment were he was scared. Maybe he heard something that frightened him. I am no vet or dog pro, but maybe it was something to do with his instinct
