The night was closing in upon my soul.
The light can be lost, I am a fool !
But a flame stays lit if sheltered from a storm,
or extinguished tossed upon the foam.
Night will pass with coming of the dawn.
fading by lantern light to morn.
decending torments, distant - gone,
receding shadows bathed by the sun,
elating soul within me, free anon.

You want to analyse this:

Coming out of a troubled time is like waking to a fresh new morning especially after a rainy night, everything seems fresh and new.

The bird's song is sweeter the grass is greener the sky is bluer everything is ok at last.

She dances by the fireside, her thoughts supress her daddys suicide.
She lay still and quiet her mind, talking to her inner child.

Oh I thought this was the dark poetry site.
Or not. I just made that up.
See, she would have a reason to be depresed.
But rather she dances around the fire, and thinks of the comming day and the joys it may bring.
Hmmm, no not depressed. Doing okay, thankyou.
I went to church last week, Trinity Church, in Tacoma, WA..
I felt God come into my heart and soul, or the Holy Spirit.
Not that He had ever really left, but I was so distant from Him, it was nice to really, undoubtedly, feel His Divine presence, and to feel like I am okay.
I am forgiven for any wrong Imay have ever committed.

Praise God!
Glory be To God!!!
In Jesus Holy Name Amen.

I have been depressed for a number of years. I am finally coming back to life. I didn't know then that I was depressed, but am confident that I can over come this with the help of my spirits and guardian angels that watch over me. If you are depressed I would suggest to you to get in touch with nature. Go in the woods and look for a tree that invites you to sit. You will know what I mean when you are there and see the beauty. When I was in elemetary school I woiuld go and sit at a tree that had two trunks and just sit there. I woudl be there for hours on end so when I arose and went home I was very calm relaxed and refreshed. Good Luck to you and try to rely on your spirits to help you.

Consider this:

Mat 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Mat 6:26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Mat 6:27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
Mat 6:28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
Mat 6:29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
Mat 6:32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Mat 6:34 "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

I am depressed but environmental only. What good news I can offer you is that you can change that when you are ready.. It's all up to you regardless of where depression comes from. What you wrote reminds me of a poem my brother once wrote. You are lonely.
