Well, it depends what your trying to do. If you've just started running you really should aim for about 6 minutes for 2 laps. This is for a standard 400 meter track, though. If your walking, I would think 10 min 28 sec is okay, but try to push it to the limit.

I don't jog very fast, and I do 2 laps in less than 6 minutes. Actually, if I knew I was only doing 2 laps I could probably do it in less than 5 minutes. I usually do about 12 laps total at a little less than 3 minutes a lap. This is if one lap is a quarter of a mile. I guess if you're on a half mile track, this would be a decent time. And if you're walking, this would be fine for a beginner. If you're trying to lose weight, go by what your heart rate is, not a time. You'll need to know what your heart rate should be, though.

how long are the laps. if you're talking about 1 lap=i mile. then that's a great time. if you are talking about 1 lap=400 meters then i'm guessing you were on your knees the whole time.

lol, 400 meter track? I'm close to running a mile faster than you'd get through one lap.

If that's two laps of a standard 400m track then I could crawl faster.

is this a quarter mile track? god I hope not. If it were a mile track, that would be good. if its a quarter mile track and thats the best you can do, then you need to get out more.
