I don't believe that faith is necessary. I believe it is actually poisonous. I believe logic and reason are necessary. We all benefit from them equally.

I don't know how you measure "faith" in saying some people need more than others. It would all be opinion on what you think is faith. Once you define it, you can measure it based on your belief, and your belief only. So, in reality, you are only measuring another person's faith based on your definition which may or may not be right.

The only faith I need is the faith in myself to be a good wife, mother and human being.

We are born creatures of faith. When driving you need a degree of faith that someone driving toward you does'nt cross the line into your lane or that people that come to a red light will stop, etc etc. This does'nt require intellect, it's FAITH.

Faith in what? God? That my wife wont cheat on me? Faith that I have enough sense to raise my kids to live with an open mid and not let others tell them how to think and feel?
Depends on what type of faith you are talking about

Don't you have faith that when you step on the brakes your car will stop? There are so many different places to place one's faith (everyone has it whether they know it or not). I choose to place my faith in the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Faith within itself is a product of human need. Faith in God is human completeness

I think for the most part we all need a little intelligence; some people more than others.

Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
It is desireable.
Faith is also a Gift, if you don't receive it you will not be saved.
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
OLAY!
