Thinking about buying the new Sharp Aquos 37 D43U supposed to be the next generation of LCD screens. Curious to see what people thought about it. Thank you!

I recently purchased my 32" LCD and after comparing in several stores, the Magnavox's, Toshiba's, & Sony's (which are way overpriced in my opinion); I found I liked the image on my Phillips much better and it was reasonably priced. I am still very happy with Phillips a month later. Consumer reports had it in the top 5 at the time also (Bravia was listed #1 but again, WAY pricey).

The 37" models rank considerably different. Here is the current top 4 from consumer reports:

Toshiba Cinema Series REGZA 37LX96 $1600
Olevia 537H CR Best Buy $850
Magnavox 37MF231D/37 $1300
Hewlett-Packard LC3760N $1300

The Aquos was not listed at all in the 37" models, but did rate
#2 in the 42" and #1 in the 46" models.

I have one and it's ok, but doesn't hold a candle to my Sony Bravia.
