We went out for a month (no sex) and he said he only wants to be friends so I was dumped. But we still hang out a lot, more than weekly. He IM and texts me often to ask me how i've been or telll private jokes.
FRiends tell me it is a good thing we are still great friends that hang out and talk. But now I wonder if he is just using me as a fall back whenever he needs compnay and the few friends he have are away. He's an orphan. I enjoy his company. I have many friends but he knows I hate them and always want to get away from them.
I never look for him only he does.
Am I thinking too much that he is using me as a fallback company for hanging out? Is he playing me?
I am not romantically interested in him anymore. I care for him as a friend but I don't want to be used!

I don't think he is using you. Maybe he just needed some company because he is either depressed, or sad that most or his friends are at another place. From a wise 12-year old, Al G

it doesnt sound like he is using you, sounds like he enjoys your company but doesnt want a relationship,, too many people put stock in being in love when the real love is having a good friend to hang out with and enjoy,

dont think of it too much negative,,,,let him do the things he used to do with u and for sure right time will come for you to know if what he really feels for you,,,,,and you will know it either if does he just using u if he doesnt have any company for sure,,,,we got this woman's feeling detecting guys if what they have for us,,,friendship or some deep relationship,,,,just dont think too much of negative things.........

He just wants you as a FRIEND. He's not using you.....he is always contacting you. Just accept that he doesnt want more than your friendship.
