they ate it. (read on)
now before you get your panties in a bunch, this is not crazy. we (as catholics) eat the body of christ and the blood of christ every sunday at mass. transubstantiation says it is indeed the body and blood of christ.

What does the Bible say? “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised up in incorruption. It is sown a physical body, it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one. It is even so written: ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. Nevertheless, the first is, not that which is spiritual, but that which is physical, afterward that which is spiritual. (1 Cor. 15:42-49)
Paul’s words about receiving a different body in the resurrection apply to Jesus himself and to his faithful followers begotten by God’s spirit. Just as Peter said that Jesus was put to death in the flesh and resurrected to life in the spirit, so Paul here says that in the resurrection Jesus, who is the “last Adam,” was raised or “became a life-giving spirit.”—1Â Cor. 15:45; 1 Pet. 3:18
Jesus' fleshly body was disposed of like the body of Moses. That way, it would not be made into an object of worship or of curiosity.

Jesus rose from the dead, as we all do once our physical bodies can no longer function and our hearts cease to beat. He came back for three days in human form, with his physical body in order to prove to those left here on earth that indeed, we do survive death. He was "living proof" during those three days, of "life after death" and "life everlasting".
He then went on to what we call "Heaven" in his "Spiritual Body" which is the Soul each of us possess that lives within our Spiritual Body. His final words to us were... "I will be with you always, even onto the end of the world." I believe His words with all my Heart and Soul.
At the time of death, our Spiritual Body (the Soul) leaves our Physical Body and transcends into the Spiritual Realms.
Jesus is in this Spiritual Realm, and He is also with us here on earth. He is what is known as Omnipresent, which simply put means "everywhere, at all times and all at once."
Hope this helps a bit.

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to the disciples in a locked room, that does not appear to be a normal body to me.
He either walked through walls or a locked door or just materialized himself into the room.
Birdsflies was right. Jesus rose in an immortal body. That means He was no longer mortal, no longer of flesh and blood, but whatever the composition of an immortal body, His disciples were forbidden to touch Him.
When one of the disciples attempted to reach out and touch Him, He said, 'do not touch me, I have not been to the Father yet'.
It is difficult to be more specific since the scriptures are not more specific.
I do know that the scriptures tell us that when the rapture takes place, we who are mortal will become immortal, and we who are corruptable will become incorruptable, and we will be taken up into the clouds to meet Jesus.

In heaven we get new body. Jesus can do whatever He wants. He can even come back here in a form of a person if He wants. Everything is not recorded in the Bible. Jesus does not have the same limits we have. I know it is hard to understand this kind of things. The main thing to understand is that Jesus loves you and He wants to be your Savior, and He needs to hear from you what is your decision. : )

Our corrupt body will be changed to an incorruptible body. What this really means in Scripture we do not know except our flesh and blood body will be completely different, yet still a body. The body will have a glow as Jesus' body shined brightly in the transformation.

LOL, didnt you quote that from my answer? anyway, God, when he went to heaven and i think that he turned into his normal spirit. God is Jesus, Jesus is the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is God. its a triune. my Bible teacher taught me that. So he just went to heaven but he was in heaven already(God and the Holy spirit was there.) its kinda confusing. But we humans arnt smart enough to ecknoledge this. we will know that when we go to heaven. Maybe you can ask God in person lol. : )
