Help me understand this gurl:I've always had feelings for this gurl i had in my elementary school(grade 1-6)

and in grade 6,during the ski week dance she asked me to dance with her and sumhow i messed it up.Then at the graduation dance i wanted 2 ask her to dance and sumhow i messed that up also.By the way we're both 17. Anyway between grade 6 and grade 10 we've seen each other a few times(on the bus for example).Since we last saw each other on the bus, i didnt have any contact with her. Then this past summer i found out wut her email was so i added her. I got the impression she didnt want anything to do with me but lately it seems that she still likes me even though she has a bf. For example she's asked me if i had a gf and a few days ago she confessed that when we last saw each other she thought that i hated her( i told her no, that im just shy).She was like i havent seen u anymore and she invited me 2 her friends bd party. I told her i couldnt come and all of a sudden she got mad, like u dont have 2 come if u dont want 2.(By the way i know she likes me; she told me when we were younger)

Even her friends told me.(when we were also on the bus we couldnt keep our eyes off each other). Also, right now she has a bf

If she has a boyfriend, leave it. If she really likes you she'll break up with her boyfriend, and you can go from there. If she doesn't break up with him you should assume she wants to be with him - she's old enough not just to have a boyfriend for the sake of it. Do nothing until/unless the situation changes.

Maybe her feelings have changed since she was younger. If she liked you that much and wanted to go out with you, she would probably dump her bf. Why wouldn't you go to her friends party? I thought you liked her. She was trind to take your relationship further. Just tell her how you feel and see how things work out.
